On November 15th of 2008, Roy Slack, President and Director of Cementation Canada Inc., was honoured with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Entrepreneur of the Year award. The award is given to a professional engineer who has “demonstrated the initiative, energy and spirit it takes to seek out new ideas and to take a leading role in fostering and promoting them”.
